Spotless City, LLC (referred to herein as “SpotlessCity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting your privacy.  We created this Privacy Policy to give you confidence as you visit and use this website, located at www.spotlesscity.com (“SpotlessCity.com” or the “Site”), and to inform you about our practices relating to the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal information that may be acquired or provided through the use of the Site.  By using the Site, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.  This Privacy Policy does not address the collection, use, or disclosure of information by any third parties.

Information We Collect

SpotlessCity may collect the following information from users of the Site: first name, last name, street address, city, state, zip code, cross streets, phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, and credit card information (collectively, “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).  SpotlessCity is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 and we request that such individuals do not provide PII through the Site.  SpotlessCity does not knowingly collect PII from children under the age of 13.

SpotlessCity may also collect information regarding past orders, reviews of dry cleaners and laundromats (“Cleaners”), and customer service inquiries from users of the Site.  Our servers may automatically recognize information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website, which may include information such as the domain names and Internet protocol (“IP”) addresses of visitors to the Site, as well as the browser type and the date and time of the browser’s access to the Site.  No PII about you is revealed in this process and we generally treat information collected by such process as non-PII.  To the extent that Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered PII by local law, we treat these identifiers as PII.  The Site may also gather anonymous “traffic data” that does not personally identify you, but that may be helpful for improving the services we offer.

How Information is Used

SpotlessCity does not sell, distribute or rent your PII to any third parties without your consent.  SpotlessCity only shares users’ orders, special instructions, first and last name, address information, and telephone number with our trusted partner Cleaners in order to provide the services ordered through the Site.

SpotlessCity uses PII to create users’ accounts on the Site, to communicate with users regarding services ordered through the Site, to offer users promotions and special offers, and to charge users for services ordered through the Site.  Users may opt to allow SpotlessCity to store certain PII used to create user accounts, including, but not limited to, credit card information.  SpotlessCity uses stored PII to customize future order processing.  Users with accounts may access and change their stored PII and opt-out of receiving promotional communications from SpotlessCity at any time by visiting the My Profile link on the Site.

SpotlessCity may use cookies to remember users on the Site and to enhance users’ experience on the Site.  For example, when users with SpotlessCity accounts return to the Site, cookies identify those users and allow the Site to provide certain user-specific information such as account information and order history.

SpotlessCity may also use PII to enforce the Terms of Use agreement.

How We Protect Information

SpotlessCity has implemented and maintains administrative, technical, and physical security measures equal to or exceeding industry standards to prevent the unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, theft, misuse, destruction, and alteration of your PII, but we cannot guarantee that such measures will prevent any unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, theft, misuse, destruction, or alteration of your PII.  By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree that SpotlessCity makes no such guarantee, and that you use the Site at your own risk.  SpotlessCity will notify you of any suspected or confirmed unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, theft, misuse, destruction, or alteration of your PII in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.

Amending the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy without prior notice.  You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last revised by referring to the “Last Updated” legend at the top of this page.  Any amendments to our Privacy Policy will become effective upon our posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Site.  Use of the Site following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy then in effect.
